Los Feliz
Yesterday, Johnny, Palmer, and I went to visit Cher in the wonderful city of Los Feliz. I find this area of Los Angeles to have so much character and charm -- a brief walk away from where she lives, you'll find a string of restaurants, a classic movie theater, and several vintage clothing stores. Everyone we passed was nonchalantly hip and (in my imagination) was reading a movie script or writing their next song. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant that kindly allowed Palmer on their premises and on our walk home saw a sign that was perfectly fitting of Palmer's blog! The House of Pies for the Palmerpie!! Yum!

Colitis
For the past 3 years, Palmer has been house trained. He is on a bathroom routine and his only accidents were when we first brought him home. It wasn't until a few days ago that I knew something was wrong... Palmer had 3 accidents (of the number 2 kind) within one week. I wrote off the first accident as an off-day... the second accident I thought was an indication of dominance... but when the poor guy couldn't even hold it in overnight, I brought him into the vet right away. When we were in the waiting room at the vet, we saw a Great Dane!
After a checkup by the vet and a few lab tests, Palmer was diagnosed with colitis or inflammation of the lower intestine. Luckily, after a few days on doggie meds, our Palmerpie is back to normal!
